UNO of Bhuapur Upazila Md. Helaluzzaman Sarkar attended the open budget ceremony as chief guest with Chairman of Falda Union Parishad Md. Sydul Islam Talukder in the chair.

Over 220 people of different villages including social workers, service providers, common citizens, teachers, farmers, community and religious leaders were present in the budget announcing open discussion.

Before announcing the budget, chairman of Falda Union Parishad Md. Sydul Islam discussed various aspects of the proposed budget, procedure of its preparation and answered dozens of questions asked by the common people.Taking part in the open discussion session, the participants put maximum emphasis on enhanced participation of the grassroots people in implementing the budget to make it more pro- people and effective through ensuring transparency and accountability.Highly appreciating the initiative of arranging open budget announcing ceremony, they said enhanced involvement of grassroots people in formulating more effective and pro-people union budget and its implementation would ensure uniform rural developments.
