    The Civil Society Organization Sustainability Index (CSOSI) Report is a global initiatives of the USAID in association with the FHI 360 and International Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ICNL), USA to measure the strengths, advances, setbacks and overall viability of the CSO sectors throughout the year in more than 73 countries of the globe. It prepared through panel discussions among CSO practitioners and experts in seven key “dimensions” of the sustainability of the civil society sector: legal environment, organizational capacity, financial viability, advocacy, service provision, sectoral infrastructure, and public image.
    The Hunger Project Bangladesh has worked as the local partner of the association of FHI 360, ICNL and USAID to facilitate the panel findings, in-depth context analysis and prepare draft of the 2019 edition of the Civil Society Organization Sustainability Index for Bangladesh. A hi-profile editorial committee consisting of technical and regional experts were involved to review and finalized the score and report.
