56 interface meetings conducted with 1226 SMC members, headteachers and youth unit members played as an facilitators role through raising their expectations. 6 to 8 youth unit members from 56 schools engaged in discussions with school authorities. To address gaps in highlighting urgent sanitation needs, separate toilets for girls, stop eve-teasing on the way to school for girls, arrangement of safe classrooms, installing bean boxes for waste disposal,establishment of girls’ common rooms, storing sanitary napkins and providing disposal baskets for sanitary napkins. These upgrades have created safer, more inclusive learning environments, ensuring better hygiene, dignity, and uninterrupted education for girls. Continued investment in infrastructure and awareness will sustain this progress. SMC members expressed their commitment to take initiative for a girl’s friendly atmosphere.
